Hello everyone!
Time is flying by so quickly, can't believe it's almost Easter! It's been very busy at St. Jude's with all the fun from the spring fundraiser trips, and excitement has started to build up for arts night as the rehearsals begin!
Of course, we still learned a lot in French:
Grade 1:
-We continued to drill spring related vocabulary as well as colours.
-We learned to recognize the gender of the new words and use the correct articles with each (le/la/les).
Grade 2:
-We continued to work on personal pronouns and their proper use.
-We learned to conjugate and use new verbs (action words).
-We learned how to replace names and nouns by personal pronouns in texts and sentences.
Grade 5:
-We continued to work on biodiversity.
-We learned to read new short texts, identify new difficult words and defined them.
-We learned to find the answers to comprehension questions in the text and formulate full sentence answers.
