Hello everyone!
I hope you all had a fun, relaxing and rainy Easter weekend and of course a lot of chocolate!
This short week was very productive, we are back on track all caught up on missed French classes from last week!
In Grade 1:
-We learned about art in French.
-We learned the primary colours and the colours they yield when mixed.
-We learned to read instructions in French and follow them to colour some drawings using the proper colours.

This short week was very productive, we are back on track all caught up on missed French classes from last week!
In Grade 1:
-We learned about art in French.
-We learned the primary colours and the colours they yield when mixed.
-We learned to read instructions in French and follow them to colour some drawings using the proper colours.
In Grade 2:
-We learned to transform positive sentences into negative ones using "ne+pas" by identifying the verb and placing them before and after it.
-We learned to ask "do you like...?" in French "Est-ce que tu aimes.....?" and we used this to interview some friends in the classroom to find out which food items they like and don't like.
-We learned to write full sentences to state our findings about our friends using "Il or Elle aime...." or "Il or Elle n'aime pas...".
In Grade 5:
-We continued to practice the tenses: Présent, passé composé and Imparfait.
-We learned to use the comparative and superlative forms to compare species as well as compare members of our own families including ourselves.
-We started working on our French summative: students will be working in pairs to research about a species of their choice and create a powerpoint presentation.
Wish you all a great weekend ahead!
Rawan
